Intelligent Building Management Systems

Project Description

Intelligent Building Management Systems
An Intelligent Building Management System (IBMS) is a computer-based control system installed in buildings that controls and monitors the building’s mechanical and electrical equipment such as ventilation, lighting, power systems, fire systems, and security systems.

CNA’s IBMS solutions integrate

  • Air-conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation Systems- allowing the IBMS solution to control and monitor the Air Handling Units
  • Intelligent Lighting Systems – enabling Control and Monitoring of Lighting to conserve Energy
  • Life Safety Systems – Allow the IBMS Solution to give immediate reaction in critical situations
  • Uninterrupted Power Supply Systems – Enables the UPS System, to be monitored and controlled
  • Power Monitoring Systems – Helps in Collecting Useful data on Building Power Consumption
  • Security Systems – Allows the IBMS to monitor the Security Card System and alerting the Maintenance Personnel when required.

Functions of Integrated Building Management Systems
To create a central computer controlled method which has three basic functions:

  • Controlling
  • Monitoring
  • Optimizing

Benefits of CNA’s IBMS

  • Required for LEED Certification (Green Buildings)
  • Open Ended Solutions like MODBUS / LONWORKS / BACNET
  • Can Integrate with Existing BMS Systems
  • Customer Driven Solution
    • Customer is kept informed about each step of the process.
    • Customer’s Input is highly valued and We take even the minutest suggestions very seriously
  • Building tenant/occupants
    • Good control of internal comfort conditions
    • Possibility of individual room control
    • Increased staff productivity
    • Effective monitoring and targeting of energy consumption
    • Improved plant reliability and life
    • Effective response to HVAC-related complaints
    • Save time and money during the maintenance
  • Maintenance Companies
    • Ease of information availability
